Singapore, May 2025 — When The Perse School (Singapore) opened its doors, it did so not just with ambition, but with heart, purpose, and the leadership of its founding Principal, Mr. Daniel Cross.
From the earliest days, Dan brought a clear vision: to establish an international school that would reflect the rich heritage of The Perse Cambridge while embracing the innovation and diversity of Singapore. Under his guidance, the school welcomed its first cohort of pioneering students, a remarkable achievement for any new institution.
Dan championed the development of a future-focused curriculum, thoughtfully designed to equip students with the critical thinking, creativity, and global perspective needed for an ever-evolving world. His emphasis on balance — between academic excellence and character development — laid the foundation for a school culture that is both aspirational and nurturing.
With his characteristic calm and commitment to quality, Dan led the expansion into senior school. The launch of the Perse Senior School is a milestone, and Dan ensured it was introduced not just with high expectations, but with an innovative and broad curriculum that reflects the school’s core values: Intellectual Curiosity, Breadth, Balance, Endeavour, and Integrity.
