We are pleased to offer a limited number of prestigious academic scholarships for exceptional new and current Perse students entering the Year 10 IGCSE (AY 2026–28) cohort. These merit-based awards are designed to recognise academic excellence, leadership potential, and all-round achievement.
Scholarships for year 10 IGCSE
SCHOLARSHIP TIERS
Year 10 Scholarships range from 25% to 100% of tuition fees and are awarded for the full duration of the student’s IGCSE and A Level studies – from Year 10 through to Year 13.
1 x Full Scholarship – 100% of tuition fees
2 x Half Scholarships – 50% of tuition fees
4 x Quarter Scholarships – 25% of tuition fees
Scholarship Criteria
Strong Academic Performance Assessed Through an Entrance Examination : Candidates will be required to sit for an entrance examination designed to assess their academic ability across key subject areas relevant to the IGCSE curriculum.
Interview with the Principal : Shortlisted Candidates will be invited for a personal interview with the Principal, which serves as an opportunity for us to get to know the candidate beyond academic performance.
Statement of Purpose : Applicants must submit a Statement of Purpose, offering insight into their personal journey and ambitions.
How to APPLY
Submit Your Application : Complete the Scholarship Application Form and submit it together with the standard school application and non-refundable application fee.
Entrance Examination : Eligible candidates will be invited to sit for an academic assessment.
Student Presentation (5–10 minutes) : Shortlisted candidates will deliver a 5–10 minute presentation showcasing the Perse values of Intellectual Curiosity and Scholarship, using a topic of their choice. A panel will follow with questions to understand their thinking and depth of inquiry.
Principal’s Interview : Shortlisted applicants will be invited for a one-on-one interview with our Principal.
Successful candidates will be awarded a scholarship that supports their education at Perse Singapore through to graduation. If the scholarship is not awarded and the applicant chooses to withdraw, the application fee will not be refunded.
