I have been fortunate to work in international schools across the UK, Singapore, Brunei, Dubai, and Vietnam, and each experience has shaped my approach to education and leadership. My focus has always been on delivering an outstanding academic programme that enables every student to achieve their personal best.
I believe in building strong relationships and creating a school where everyone feels known, valued, and supported. What makes The Perse School (Singapore) so special is its strong sense of purpose, its close ties to The Perse School in Cambridge, and its vibrant, diverse community.
I look forward to working closely with students, parents, and staff to build on the school's strengths. I am particularly excited to welcome both existing and new families as we begin the 2026 – 27 academic year together.

Johan Stromsater
Co-CEO
With over 40 years of experience in education, including his most recent post as CEO of Canadian International School in Singapore, Johan’s leadership and vision guide our school’s strategic direction, ensuring excellence and innovation in all aspects of our educational offerings.
Anip Sharma
Co-CEO
With over two decades of experience advising global and regional operators in education and other sectors, he has worked with leading independent and international school groups on growth and teaching quality initiatives. Previously, he was the Founding Partner for LEK Global Education Practice and a Senior Vice President at EY-Parthenon’s Education Centre of Excellence.
Mark Preece
Principal
Mark Preece brings extensive international school leadership experience from the UK, Singapore, Brunei, Dubai and Vietnam. As Principal, Mark is firmly focused on delivering an excellent academic programme, fostering student development through considered assessments, and ensuring improved performance. Mark is also known for his warm, empathetic and personal leadership style.
