Responsibility Of Academic & Examination Board
The Academic Board’s responsibilities include the development, review, and implementation of academic policies and procedures, as well as ensuring that subject content, course duration, and school entry and graduation requirements are appropriate. The Board also approves the deployment of teachers in accordance with the requirements stipulated by Singapore regulations.
The Examination Board participates in the development, implementation, and review of examination and assessment procedures. It provides assessment leadership and contributes to the strategic direction of the school in relation to the quality and standards of its courses. The Board oversees assessment processes to ensure fairness, consistency, and regulatory compliance.

Lynne Oldfield
Executive Principal
Lynne Oldfield is an accomplished international educator and school leader with over 30 years of experience in prestigious institutions across the UK and Asia. Prior to joining The Perse School (Singapore), she served as Principal of North London Collegiate School Jeju, where she led the school to international recognition, including the award for British International School of the Year 2021.
Mark Preece
Principal
Mark Preece brings extensive international school leadership experience from the UK, Singapore, Brunei, Dubai and Vietnam. As Principal, Mark is firmly focused on delivering an excellent academic programme, fostering student development through considered assessments, and ensuring improved performance. Mark is also known for his warm, empathetic and personal leadership style.

Simon has almost 20 years’ experience in senior leadership positions in UK schools. He leads the education planning and support for The Perse School (Singapore) and collaborates with the leadership to ensure The Perse’s ethos of academic excellence and holistic education is upheld as well as links are made with The Perse School Cambridge.
