About Teacher
Syakira is a Registered Nurse with extensive experience across hospitals, operating theatres, general wards and community healthcare in Singapore. She is passionate about promoting students’ health and wellbeing, providing compassionate care and creating a safe environment where every child feels supported.
Before joining The Perse School (Singapore), Syakira worked with Minmed Medical Group as a Vaccination Nurse and previously held nursing roles at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Khoo Teck Phuat Hospital and Ng Teng Fong General Hospital. Her broad clinical experience has equipped her with strong skills in emergency response, patient care and health education.
Syakira holds a Diploma in Nursing from Ngee Ann Polytechnic and is BCLS certified. She believes in working closely with students, families and staff to support the health and wellbeing of the whole school community, helping students thrive both in and beyond the classroom.
