Stella Rainalter-Lim

With over 12 years of experience in education, Stella is a highly dedicated and passionate teacher. She is experienced in managing school-wide initiatives, staff development, and curriculum implementation. Stella is also instrumental in ensuring the pastoral care of students, coordinating events, and engaging with parents and prospective families.

Her teaching philosophy focuses on a student-centred approach that fosters language acquisition through meaningful engagement. She aims to create an immersive environment where learners confidently practise their skills and develop a deep understanding and respect for Chinese culture.

Her previous roles as Head of Department and Key Stage Lead have equipped her with strong team skills and the ability to implement effective changes that foster collaboration and enhance the quality of teaching and learning. Stella’s ability to communicate fluently in both English and Mandarin, alongside her proficiency in German, has enabled her to connect with international communities and deliver engaging lessons.

Stella holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education and Chinese Studies from Nanyang Technological University and has continuously developed her leadership skills through various certifications, including safeguarding and international school leadership. Her commitment to creating a positive school environment and improving student outcomes is evident in the many initiatives she has led, including developing lesson structures and resources, pastoral programs across key stages, mentoring new teachers and parent engagement.
