Sharon Hsiao

Sharon is an experienced Chinese Language Teacher with over nine years of teaching in Singapore’s preschool sector. She holds L1 and L2 teaching certifications and is passionate about creating engaging, interactive lessons that support young children’s language development.

She was previously a Chinese Lead Teacher at Primus Schoolhouse, where she plans and delivers lessons, supports curriculum development and works closely with colleagues and parents to monitor children’s progress. She also leads school events and mentors fellow teachers to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.

Also, Sharon has held roles at Superland Montessori Preschool, MindChamps Preschool and Busy Bees Learning Vision, where she developed strong experience in curriculum planning, classroom management and organising cultural and language-based activities.

Her teaching approach draws on Reggio Emilia, Montessori and theme-based learning, creating a child-centred environment that encourages curiosity, creativity and confidence. She is committed to nurturing a love for the Chinese language while supporting each child’s holistic development.
