Qianhui Li

Qianhui Li is an experienced and passionate music educator with over 15 years of experience in music education, specialising in piano, music theory, classroom music, instrumental and vocal training, choir, and performance preparation.

Qianhui holds a Bachelor of Music with Honours from the Royal College of Music, London, specialising in Piano Performance, and a Master of Music Education from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. She also received her professional piano training at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts and has more than 15 years of experience performing on stage as a soloist, accompanist, and choir member, including performances with the Singapore Symphony Choir at the Esplanade concert hall – Theatres on the Bay.

Throughout her career, Qianhui has taught students from early childhood through to secondary level, working with a wide range of abilities, learning styles, and musical goals. She has prepared students for ABRSM and Trinity examinations. She has also coached students for recitals, competitions, and performances, with students receiving awards in international piano competitions.

Qianhui believes that music education should extend beyond technical achievement. She aims to create engaging and supportive learning experiences that nurture creativity, confidence, collaboration, communication, and self-expression, while inspiring every student to discover the joy of music and develop a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts.

She is committed to continuous professional development and to exploring innovative approaches to music education and creative learning, with a particular focus on supporting children’s holistic development through music.
