About Teacher
Maria is an experienced educator with a background in Montessori education, primary and secondary English, enrichment programmes and early childhood learning. She has taught students across a range of ages and learning environments in Singapore and the Philippines, creating engaging lessons that support students’ academic, social and personal development.
Maria holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education, majoring in English, from the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines, as well as a Diploma in Montessori Method of Teaching from Modern Montessori International in Singapore. She also holds qualifications in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, Educational Psychology and Special Education.
Maria is passionate about creating positive and engaging learning environments where students feel supported and encouraged to develop their confidence, curiosity and love of learning. Her experience in Montessori education and enrichment teaching enables her to take a creative and child-centred approach to supporting each student’s individual needs.
