About Teacher
Marcus is a passionate music educator, conductor, and arts leader with extensive experience in music education, ensemble direction, and performance production. With a strong background in both Western and world music, Marcus brings a diverse approach to teaching, encouraging students to develop creativity, confidence, and an appreciation for music across cultures.
Marcus holds a Master of Education (Music) from the National Institute of Education and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering with a Minor in Music from Nanyang Technological University. As a registered MOE Music Instructor and AMIS adjudicator, Marcus has experience supporting students in ensemble performance, curriculum development, and music assessment. Through music technology, inquiry-based learning, and collaborative experiences, he is committed to creating engaging musical opportunities that inspire students to explore, create, and express themselves through music.
