About Teacher
Leanne is an enthusiastic English educator with an international background, having grown up in Dubai and Singapore. She has experience teaching English across Key Stage 3, 4 and 5, including GCSE and A-Level English Literature, with a particular interest in developing students’ confidence in critical thinking, creativity and communication.
Before joining The Perse School (Singapore), Zoe completed her PGCE in Secondary English at the University of the West of England, with teaching placements in UK secondary schools. She has also gained experience within the English department at Tanglin Trust School, supporting students with English, leading activities and contributing to enrichment programmes.
Leanne holds a BA in English from Royal Holloway, University of London, and is passionate about creating engaging learning experiences that inspire students to explore literature, develop their own voice and appreciate the power of language.
