About Teacher
Hema is an experienced educator who began her career in the early years before progressing into secondary education and leadership roles. She has worked across different areas of school life, including curriculum development, teacher mentoring, professional enrichment and student-parent engagement.
Hema has also held wider leadership responsibilities, supporting the development of teaching and learning, emotional intelligence, growth mindset and team-building programmes. Her experience in education consulting has further broadened her understanding of school development, academic planning and the systems that support effective departments.
As an EAL educator and Interim Head of EAL, Hema is passionate about supporting students at different stages of their learning journey and creating an inclusive environment where students can develop confidence in their language skills. She believes in the importance of collaboration between students, teachers and families in creating a supportive learning community.
