Ann Satu Penttila

Ann Satu is a passionate Physical Education teacher with an international background in sport and education. Having grown up and studied in international school environments, she brings a global perspective to her teaching and is committed to creating a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where students develop confidence, resilience and a lifelong appreciation for physical activity.

Before joining The Perse School (Singapore), Ann Satu completed Physical Education teaching placements at the International School of Kuala Lumpur and the British International School of Kuala Lumpur, teaching students across Primary and Secondary levels. She has experience delivering UK curriculum PE and GCSE Physical Education, while adapting lessons to support students with a range of abilities and learning needs.

Ann Satu holds a PGCE with iQTS in Secondary Physical Education from Coventry University, as well as an MSc in Marketing and a BSc in Sport Management from Loughborough University. With experience as both an athlete and coach in sports including football, handball, Gaelic football and softball, she is passionate about encouraging students to develop teamwork, confidence and enjoyment through sport.
