About Teacher
Amy is an experienced Mathematics educator with over 20 years of teaching experience across Singapore and Australia. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the National Institute of Education, Singapore, specialising in Mathematics and Computer Applications, and is currently furthering her expertise through a Graduate Certificate in Inclusive and Special Education.
Throughout her career, Amy has taught Mathematics to students in secondary and post-secondary settings, developing engaging, differentiated learning experiences that support students of varying abilities. She is passionate about helping students build confidence in Mathematics through inquiry, problem-solving, and real-world applications. In addition to her classroom teaching, Amy has mentored early-career teachers, led curriculum development, and contributed to whole-school initiatives in numeracy, literacy, and inclusive education. She believes that every student can succeed when supported with high expectations, meaningful relationships, and a genuine love of learning.
