Kicking Off Our First Football Friendly

It was a milestone moment at The Perse School (Singapore) as our newly installed astro turf pitch came alive with energy and anticipation during our first-ever football friendly.

Selected and trained by our coach from the Barça Academy, a group of determined Under-10 boys proudly represented The Perse in a spirited match against our neighbours from GESS. Though they had only a few sessions to prepare, the team displayed remarkable grit, teamwork, and sportsmanship—qualities we value deeply as part of the Perse Promise.

The match wasn’t just about goals scored—it marked the beginning of a new chapter in school sport, showcasing how passion, perseverance, and purpose come together on and off the field.

A huge congratulations to our young athletes for stepping up with courage and heart. We look forward to many more matches and memories on our brand-new pitch!
