Keeping The Perse Promise of Sustainable Living

At The Perse School (Singapore), sustainability is more than just a concept—it is a tradition rooted in our 400-year legacy and shared across The Perse School Cambridge. This commitment to caring for our environment is championed by our dedicated Green Team, led by Year 4 and English Teacher, Olivia Clutterbuck, alongside our passionate students.

The Green Team plays a vital role in ensuring that our school community remains mindful of its environmental impact. They track energy consumption, sharing insights to encourage thoughtful energy use, and educate students on hybrid cooling systems and other sustainable measures that help reduce our carbon footprint. More than just spreading awareness, they actively foster a culture of sustainability, ensuring that eco-friendly habits become second nature to both students and staff.

A unique tradition at The Perse School (Singapore) is our weekly Green Trophy award, which recognises the class that demonstrates the best environmental efforts. This initiative not only encourages responsibility but also fosters a sense of friendly competition in making a difference for the planet.

We are incredibly proud of our Green Team’s dedication and leadership in shaping a greener, more sustainable school environment. Their efforts continue to uphold #ThePersePromise, ensuring that our legacy of environmental stewardship remains strong for generations to come.
