Going Green Together: Earth Day Highlights

At The Perse School (Singapore), we are deeply committed to sustainability. We embed environmental responsibility into our campus, curriculum, and everyday practices and strive to meet the highest standards and nurture globally conscious students. 

This commitment came to life on Earth Day, as our school buzzed with energy and enthusiasm through a series of fun and meaningful activities. 

A highlight for many was the interactive Teacher’s Bingo, where students connected with teachers to learn about their eco-friendly habits. The activity sparked great conversations and gave students a chance to build confidence in their communication skills while discovering new ways to care for the planet. 

The excitement peaked with the much-anticipated Golden Padlock initiative, organised by the school’s Eco Committee. Four lucky students who cycled or scooted to school found a surprise padlock on their ride. It was a reward for their eco-friendly choice! They then headed to the office to unlock it and receive a special prize, making sustainable action both fun and rewarding. 

In addition to being a joyful and inspiring day, The Perse’s Earth Day celebration was also a reminder that small actions can make a big difference for our planet.
