An Afternoon of Learning and Community at The Perse School Singapore
On January 17th, we had the pleasure of welcoming parents to our Open Classroom session, offering them a firsthand glimpse into the engaging lessons and dynamic teaching that define The Perse School Singapore. It was a wonderful opportunity for families to witness the vibrant learning environment that inspires our students every day.
A highlight of the afternoon was a special session with Ed Elliott, Head of The Perse Cambridge, who captivated our Year 6 students with the remarkable 400-year history of The Perse. His talk connected the students to a legacy of academic excellence and lifelong learning, reinforcing their place in a global Perse community.
The day concluded with a gathering of our founding families at the School Assembly, marking the end of an incredible first week. Principal Daniel Cross and Head of Primary Kephren Sherry delivered an inspiring talk on #ThePersePromise, encouraging students to embrace the values that shape The Perse way—intellectual curiosity, resilience, and kindness.
What made this event truly special were the reflections shared by our students. Many spoke about the friendships they had already formed and their growing love for their new school. Their excitement and enthusiasm were a testament to the welcoming and nurturing community we are building together.
A heartfelt thank you to all the parents who joined us and made this afternoon so memorable! We look forward to more moments of learning, connection, and celebration in the months ahead.
