A Spectacular Finale: Students Shine in 2026 End-of-Year Performances
The stage came alive this term as students across The Perse School (Singapore) marked the end of the academic year with a series of memorable performances, showcasing not only their artistic talents but also the confidence, creativity, and collaboration they have developed throughout the year.
Our youngest learners delighted audiences with A Jungle Adventure as part of the Pelicans End-of-Year Concert. Through music, dance, drama, and bilingual performances, students journeyed through the animal kingdom and brought to life stories of friendship, teamwork, and kindness. From the Nursery students’ energetic Busy Like a Bee to Year 2’s heartwarming finale of The Lion Sleeps Tonight, every performance reflected the joy of learning and growing together.
The Juniors continued the celebrations with Together We Rise, a concert centred on hope, resilience, and community. This year’s production marked an exciting milestone with the introduction of drama performances alongside the school’s established music programme. Through choir, dance, and storytelling, students explored themes of courage and compassion, culminating in a moving performance of Heal the World.
Reflecting on the concerts, teacher Qianhui Li shared, “The concerts were a wonderful opportunity for students to develop confidence, collaborate with their classmates, and celebrate their achievements. We are incredibly proud of all our performers and grateful to our teachers and families for their support in making the event such a memorable success.”
For our Year 6 students, the spotlight fell on a lively musical production that took audiences on a comedic journey through some of Disney’s most beloved stories. More than a performance, the show celebrated the students’ growth throughout their final year in Juniors, highlighting their creativity and teamwork as they brought each scene to life with confidence and charm.
As teachers Sophia Li and Olivia Clutterbuck said, “A huge well done to every student involved for the energy and heart they brought to the stage — you’ve truly captured the spirit of your final year, and it has been an absolute privilege to be part of this journey.”
At The Perse School (Singapore), performances like these are about far more than taking to the stage. They reflect our belief that every child should have the opportunity to flourish academically, creatively, and personally. True to The Perse Way, we place equal value on academic excellence, experiences beyond the classroom, and pastoral care, nurturing confident, compassionate, resilient, and well-rounded young people who are ready to embrace every opportunity ahead.
