About Teacher
Yujin is a passionate Mandarin educator with experience teaching learners from complete beginners to native speakers. He was previously a Mandarin trainee teacher at Harris Academy Beckenham in London, where he delivered the full Mandarin curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4, supports student wellbeing as a Year 7 Form Tutor, and ran popular cultural clubs exploring Chinese and Japanese traditions. His other experience includes teaching assistance at the School of Chinese Language and Literature in Beijing, where he worked with international students to boost their confidence, fluency and engagement.
Yujin holds an MSc in Education from the University of Southampton and a BA in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages from Beijing Foreign Studies University. Fluent in English and Japanese as well as his native Mandarin, he brings a multilingual, inclusive approach to language learning.
