About Teacher
Tricia is currently pursuing her International Qualified Teacher Status with Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with the University of Derby. She has a passion for helping children connect with others through language and cultural understanding. With a background in Intercultural Studies from Columbia Bible College in Canada, Tricia has worked in a variety of international settings, including The Japanese School in Singapore. There, she supported children in improving their English language skills through fun and interactive lessons. She created engaging activities, including multicultural events, to help students learn while exploring different cultures.
Her previous experiences include teaching dance and drama to third-culture kids in Thailand, as well as volunteering with international teams to teach English and engage with children and youth. Throughout her career, she has focused on creating positive, inclusive environments where children feel empowered to grow and learn.
Tricia is dedicated to helping students build confidence in their abilities and connect with the world around them, making her a valuable part of any learning community.
