About Teacher
Maizura brings a wealth of experience in early years and primary education, having worked in both local and international school settings. At The Perse, she supports students in Grade 5 and the Foundation Programme, delivering small-group lessons in Maths, Literacy, and Unit of Inquiry. Maizura collaborates closely with homeroom teachers and helps facilitate international learning experiences linked to the curriculum.
Previously, she has worked in preschool and enrichment centres, designing engaging, play-based programmes that foster early literacy, motor skills, and creativity. As Centre Manager at My Gym, she led staff training and curriculum planning while also teaching gymnastics and early childhood classes.
Maizura’s teaching style is warm, inclusive, and highly focused on creating a supportive environment where every child feels engaged and valued. She is certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED, and holds a Diploma in Sports and Leisure Management. Additionally, Maizura is trained to support bilingual and multilingual learners.
Outside of school, she enjoys exploring art exhibitions, practicing yoga, and going for runs. Her positive attitude, flexibility, and dedication to student development make her a wonderful addition to any learning community.
