About Teacher
Shanthi Veerashingam is a highly experienced international educator with over 20 years of teaching across Asia and Europe. She is passionate about inquiry-led, concept-based learning that nurtures creativity, curiosity and deep understanding in young learners.
Shanthi has taught in leading international schools in Thailand, Belgium, Japan, Taiwan, China and Singapore, working across IB PYP, Reggio-inspired and British curricula. She most recently taught in IB settings where she designed child-centred, concept-based units and embraced co-teaching and universal design for learning to support diverse learners.
Shanthi holds a degree in Early Childhood Education and a Diploma in Primary Education from the National Institute of Education, Singapore. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Education and has completed extensive IB and Reggio Emilia professional development.
Fluent in multiple languages including English and Mandarin, Shanthi brings a global outlook and a deep appreciation for culturally responsive education. She is dedicated to creating joyful, inclusive learning environments where children feel inspired to explore, create, and grow.
