About Teacher
Pavani is a dedicated and caring teaching assistant with extensive experience supporting students across early years, primary, and secondary settings in both Sri Lanka and Singapore. She brings a strong commitment to creating inclusive, engaging, and supportive learning environments where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
With a background as an English Language Teacher and Form Teacher in national schools in Sri Lanka, Pavani has taught core subjects including English, Science, and Social Studies, and has supported students in preparing for national examinations. Her classroom experience includes differentiated instruction, assessment, and the use of educational technology to meet diverse learning needs.
As an Assistant Teacher in Singapore, Pavani supports lead teachers in planning and delivering age-appropriate lessons, providing individualised support, and ensuring students’ wellbeing and safety. She is particularly skilled in early childhood development, classroom organisation, and nurturing positive social-emotional skills in young learners.
Pavani holds a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities and Social Sciences, a National Diploma in Teaching (ESL), and has completed professional training in Early Childhood Care and Education. She is known for her patience, adaptability, and collaborative approach, and is passionate about supporting students’ growth within a positive and multicultural school community.
