About Teacher
Macy comes with an excellent educational background, including a 1st Class Bachelor’s degree in Child Learning and Development and a Master’s degree from Liverpool John Moores University. She has also completed a PGDE, showcasing her strong commitment to professional development.
Macy has valuable teaching experience, having worked at Instituto Bilingue Victoria in Mexico, where she taught primary education, focusing on English language learners and Mathematics. Her international teaching experience has enriched her approach, emphasising child-centered, inquiry-based learning that fosters critical thinking skills. Macy has also contributed to the school community through various extracurricular activities such as sports, sewing, and mindfulness sessions, as well as organising camping trips and community events.
Passionate about combining her love for education and exploration, Macy is eager to embrace Singapore’s culture and integrate seamlessly into our diverse school environment. Her enthusiasm for nurturing well-rounded learners and her dedication to continuous personal and professional growth make her a valuable addition to our team.
