Leanne is a dedicated and reflective English teacher with extensive experience teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 in the UK. She is passionate about fostering a love of literature, language, and critical thinking, while creating inclusive classroom environments where all students feel supported and challenged.

Holding a Master’s degree in Education (Secondary English), Leanne brings a strong academic foundation alongside practical classroom expertise. She has taught a wide range of learners, including students with English as an Additional Language and those with Special Educational Needs, and is skilled in using assessment data to inform differentiation and promote progress.

Previously at Kings Leadership Academy Liverpool, Leanne delivered engaging and rigorous English lessons and contributes actively to curriculum development and whole-school literacy initiatives. She has also taught at several secondary schools, gaining broad experience in curriculum planning, exam preparation for GCSE English Language and Literature, and leading co-curricular activities such as Drama Club, Book Club, Literacy Club, and Debate Society.

With a background in Drama and English, Leanne enjoys integrating performance, creative writing, and discussion into her teaching. She values collaboration, pastoral support, and student voice, and is committed to continuous professional development and high-quality teaching practice.
