About Teacher
Gaurav is an experienced STEM technician with over a decade of expertise in laboratory management, safety, and operations. Before joining The Perse School (Singapore), he worked at Hume Anglican Grammar in Melbourne, managing multiple science laboratories and technology spaces, and supporting teachers and students in hands-on projects.
Gaurav is skilled in laboratory setup, safety compliance, resource management, and advanced technologies such as 3D printing and laser cutting. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and a Diploma in Materials Science, along with certifications in Work Health & Safety, First Aid & CPR. His innovative work in renewable energy has been award-winning, and he is passionate about creating safe, well-resourced spaces where students can explore, experiment, and innovate.
