About Teacher
Daniel is an experienced primary teacher from New Zealand with a strong background teaching across a range of year levels, including Years 1–8. He has taught at Paparoa Street School and Lemonwood Grove School in Christchurch.
Daniel holds a Master of Teaching and Learning and a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science, and has taught across the full New Zealand Curriculum. He is passionate about building positive relationships with students and families, creating classroom cultures grounded in trust, respect, and inclusion. Daniel has extensive experience supporting diverse learners, including students on the ASD spectrum and ORS-funded students, ensuring every child feels valued and supported.
Outside the classroom, Daniel is an enthusiastic sports coach, having coached basketball, rugby, and ultimate frisbee teams at school tournaments. Daniel enjoys staying active through sport and travelling.
