Stepping into the Bullpen: Young Entrepreneurs Take the Lead

At The Perse School (Singapore), we empower students to think creatively, take initiative, and bring their ideas to life and there’s no better example of that than our Bullpen event.

Part of our Entrepreneurship Programme, the Bullpen gives students the exciting opportunity to pitch their business ideas to a panel of staff “investors,” simulating a real-world entrepreneurial experience. From product prototypes and branding concepts to marketing plans and profit projections, our students came prepared—with confidence, creativity, and compelling ideas.

As they stood in front of their peers and teachers, each team demonstrated the core skills of future-ready learners: problem-solving, teamwork, critical thinking, and persuasive communication. Questions from the panel pushed them to think on their feet, refine their strategies, and reflect on their goals.

What made the Bullpen even more special was the way it brought learning to life. Business concepts became real, and classroom theory turned into action. Beyond the pitches and presentations, students walked away with a deeper understanding of resilience, adaptability, and the power of thoughtful feedback.

We’re incredibly proud of our young entrepreneurs for rising to the challenge and showing us what innovation looks like at The Perse.
