The Perse School (Singapore) Appoints Accomplished Global Educator as New Principal
Singapore, May 2025 — The Perse School (Singapore) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Lynne Oldfield as its new Principal, marking an important next step in the school’s continued growth and development.
Ms. Oldfield brings over 30 years of international leadership experience in top British schools across the UK, Korea, Kazakhstan and China. She is widely recognised for her ability to build high-performing academic teams, foster inclusive school cultures, and lead schools through strategic phases of development.
Most recently, she served as Principal of North London Collegiate School Jeju, where she led the school to achieve international recognition, including being named British International School of the Year. Under her leadership, NLCS Jeju became the highest-performing school in the NLCS global network, known for academic excellence, student outcomes, and strong safeguarding culture.
She has also served as Headmistress of Haileybury Almaty and held senior leadership roles at Harrow International School Beijing, where she played a key role in academic innovation, international accreditation, and curriculum leadership.
