Community, Charity, and a Touch of Karaoke: Our First Car Boot Sale
The spirit of initiative and community came to life at The Perse School (Singapore) during our first-ever Car Boot Sale, a student-led event filled with purpose, creativity, and heart.
Organised by our enthusiastic Student Council with the support of dedicated parent volunteers, the event transformed our campus into a vibrant hub of activity. From pre-loved toys and books to homemade bakes, clothes, and even a spirited round of karaoke, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Beyond the fun, the event reflected the values we hold dear. Fifty percent of the proceeds will be donated to Save the Children International, supporting children in need around the world. Remaining items found a second life through our ongoing school donation drive, ensuring that nothing went to waste.
We are incredibly proud of our students for leading with empathy and initiative, and grateful to our parents and wider community for helping make the event such a resounding success.
This was more than just a marketplace—it was a celebration of community, generosity, and The Perse Promise in action.
