A Memorable First Day at The Perse School Singapore 

The excitement was palpable as students stepped onto the campus for the very first day of school on 13 February 2025 at The Perse School Singapore. The school was abuzz with the excitement as students embarked on a new academic journey, ready to learn, grow, and make lifelong memories. 

A Special Welcome – The Founding Student Wall 

One of the most memorable moments of the day was the unveiling of the Founding Student Wall—a tribute to the very first cohort of students at The Perse School Singapore. As they made their way through the corridors, students were thrilled to spot their names displayed proudly on the wall, marking them as pioneers of our school’s journey. This symbolic gesture not only honoured their place in history but also fostered a sense of pride and belonging. It was a powerful reminder that they are laying the foundation for generations to come. 

Setting the Tone – The First Assembly 

The day continued with our first School Assembly, where students, teachers, and staff came together as a community. Principal, Daniel Cross and Head of Primary, Kephren Sherry delivered inspiring words, setting the tone for a year of curiosity, resilience, and achievement. They spoke about the values that define The Perse Promise—encouraging students to embrace challenges, support one another, and make the most of every learning opportunity. 

New Beginnings, Bright Smiles 

From classrooms to playgrounds, the campus buzzed with excitement as new friendships blossomed and students settled into their routines. Teachers greeted their classes with warmth, guiding them through engaging lessons and interactive activities. 

The first day of school was more than just the beginning of a new academic year—it was the start of a new legacy. With a strong sense of community, a passion for learning, and a spirit of exploration, our founding students are set to make this year unforgettable.
