About Teacher

With a background in primary education, Georgia is committed to fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive. She brings experience from her recent role at Ironside State School, Queensland where she successfully planned and delivered high-quality teaching programmes, resulting in significant improvements in student outcomes, in English and Mathematics. 

Georgia is skilled in differentiating instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, and she is actively involved in extracurricular activities, having contributed to the organisation of school community events alongside the coaching of a wide range of sports such as netball, football and tag rugby. Having grown up playing a wide variety of sports, in her spare time Georgia enjoys exercise, which currently includes training for a triathlon. She also enjoys baking and going on hikes. 

Georgia holds a Bachelor of Education (Primary) from the University of Queensland and has demonstrated a strong commitment to professional growth, actively engaging in curriculum design, assessment, and school strategic planning. Her passion for education, combined with her adaptability and strong interpersonal skills, make her a valuable addition to our teaching team.
