About Teacher

Emily Trevitt is  a dedicated and passionate teacher with over 17 years of experience, previously working at a range of schools in the United Kingdom, including Wetherby Preparatory School, London. Emily has held various leadership roles, including Head of English, and Head of Mathematics, demonstrating her ability to inspire both students and colleagues. She is known for her exceptional organisational skills, her creative approach to curriculum development, and her ability to engage students of all abilities.

Throughout her career, Emily has managed teams, led whole-school initiatives, and fostered a love for reading, writing, and creativity among her students. She has taught a wide range of age groups, from primary to GCSE level, and has extensive experience in developing cross-curricular programs and organising enrichment activities. 

Emily’s educational background includes a Master’s degree in Classical Studies from the University of St Andrews and a PGCE in Primary Education from Newcastle University. She continues to pursue professional development, with recent training as an AQA examiner as well as courses in child psychology and reading development, ensuring she remains at the forefront of educational best practices.
