About Teacher
Elizabeth has a strong background in counselling and social work, with extensive experience supporting children and families in both school and community settings. She has served as a School Counsellor with the Ministry of Education, providing guidance and mental health support to students, parents, and teachers, as well as designing and leading school-wide wellbeing programmes. Her expertise includes delivering educational and socio-emotional therapy for students with learning and special needs, such as ADHD, ASD, Dyslexia, and ODD, helping them access the curriculum, develop coping strategies, and build emotional resilience. She has also completed professional development in therapy for neurodivergent students, further enhancing her ability to design individualized interventions. In addition, Elizabeth has held pastoral care roles and worked in family service centres, counselling individuals and facilitating group programmes to promote overall wellbeing.
Elizabeth holds a Master’s degree in Counselling from Monash University, a Postgraduate Diploma in School Counselling from Nanyang Technological University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the Singapore University of Social Sciences. She is dedicated to creating a safe, empathetic, and supportive environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
