About Teacher

Christine is an experienced Art educator with 18 years of expertise in teaching, curriculum planning, and student development. Passionate about nurturing creativity and artistic expression, she works with students of all ages to inspire their artistic journeys. Christine’s approach blends strong pedagogical strategies with a deep understanding of each child’s artistic potential.

Before joining The Perse, Christine held several leadership roles in education, including as a Senior Art Teacher, where she coached students aged 3-18, designed holiday programs, and guided students through Direct School Admission portfolios. Her efforts led to success in various competitions.

Christine’s career highlights include winning multiple awards, creating art installations for the Singapore iLight Festival, and leading initiatives that integrated art into wider educational contexts, such as collaborating with the Rainbow Centre and contributing to MOE’s curriculum development.

She holds a Bachelor in Art Education with Psychology from the Singapore University of Social Sciences and an Advanced Diploma in Art Education from the National Institute of Education. Christine has a strong background in art education and Chinese language teaching, which aligns with The Perse School’s emphasis on a well-rounded, holistic education.
