As we expand The Perse School’s legacy into Singapore, our vibrant new campus in Upper Bukit Timah merges the best of both worlds - academic excellence and innovative learning.

Introducing The Perse School
The Perse School, founded in Cambridge, has over 400 years of history and ranks among the top 10 British Independent Schools. It has produced exceptional scholars and influential figures who have shaped the world. Consistently setting high standards, the school has continued to evolve to provide students with an education tailored for the future.
Welcome to The Perse School (Singapore)

I am truly delighted to introduce myself as the new Principal of The Perse School (Singapore).
It is a privilege to join a school founded on such strong values and a rich academic tradition. With over three decades of experience in education—leading schools in the UK, China, Kazakhstan, Korea, and most recently as Principal of North London Collegiate School Jeju, I’ve had the opportunity to see how powerful a truly holistic education can be.
Throughout my journey, I’ve been guided by a simple belief: that every child deserves a world-class education in an environment that nurtures curiosity, compassion, and challenge. Academic excellence is, of course, essential—but so too are character, global perspective, and meaningful relationships.
What makes The Perse so special is its strong sense of purpose, its close connection to The Perse School in Cambridge, and its vibrant, diverse community. That partnership with Cambridge is something I’m excited to build on—ensuring our students benefit from a globally respected tradition of excellence, while embracing the opportunities unique to our context here in Singapore.
I’m here to lead, but also to listen— to students, staff, and parents. Together, we will shape the next phase of this extraordinary school.
Ms. Lynne Oldfield
Principal
